what is needed to see livescope at bow and console

I have two 93sv uhd units, and a livescope with lv34 td. my boat has the nmea 2000 backbone cable running from bow to the console.
I would like to connect the units one being at the bow with the livescope and the other at the console with the gt56 td. I mentioned the nmea 2000 but don't know if that is usable with the 93sv units. I would rather not use it and just use a ethernet cable or something if that is possible.

whats the best way to see livescope at the console ? If this has already been discussed i apologize and please point me to the right tread

I'm making the assumption the 93's have the same network connections on them as my 106 and 126. If so, you'll need to run one of these between the two units. The large connectors come disassembled which makes it much easier to pull the cable and then install the connectors after you're done routing

NMEA does not share sonar. You would need to ethernet the units and Livescope together and that will do the trick BUT being the 93's only have 1 network port you will need to add a GMS10 network hub and then connect both 93's and Livescope to the hub with ethernet cables.

when you say ethernet is that the same as a garmin marine network cable? and is the gms10 needed because the livescope is taking up the network port on the one unit at the bow?
After pricing the gms10 it would appear that my partner will not be seeing livescope!

Yes, the marine network cables. Yes the network hub is needed cause LS is taking up the network port on the bow.

The GMS 10 is just a 100mbit switch. For computers or Garmin, this thing is like $15.

If you have zero tools and need to build the thing from scratch:

A Netgear GS105 Ethernet switch can be used to network everything but isn't waterproof and must be put in a box.

hummm well now that would be affordable. so the garmin marine network cable would just plug in like on a gms10? no extra to do's and expense? other then the water proof box?

Watch the video. The Netgear GS105 is a better choice than the TP Link. The Netgear uses a 12v dc supply which allows you to eliminate the 5v transformer. Cut the wire for the power supply and used a meter to id the pos and neg. The cables do require some modifications. I've done this both with the TP Link and the Netgear. It can work. Now I've got Garmin GMS10 hubs. If you have a network issue and call support, you'll need an all Garmin network equipment and cables. To me it's just not worth the hassle.

Don't need a GMS 10, one of these is cheaper and works just as well. http://jaimeastin.com/?page_id=326

You have to cut the large threaded piece off the cable or cut the hole thing off and put a CAT5 end on it so that it will snap into the network switch. I bought some of the Garmin weatherproof ends and some CAT5 ends and wire to make my own network cables going from the network switch to the units.

Exactly- I just ran mine yesterday with a 25.00 netgear hub off of amazon. You MUST read the specs though and get one that has a 12vdc transformer capable- this way it will work in your boat..
