    What amp breaker?

I've run a dedicated 8ga line from a house battery to a fuse block where I have connected:
    (1) Active Target module
    (4) HDS Carbon 12's
    (1) NMEA 2000 network with Point1 (moving to acc eventually)

What Amp breaker should I use at the battery? I've heard anywhere from 20A to 40A. My thinking is 2.5amp draw max per Carbon (10amps), +2.5 for AT (12.5amps), +1.5 for N2K puts me at approximately 14amps total MAX draw. Using the 80% rule, would a 20A reset-able breaker at the battery suffice or should I go 30A? I ordered both fyi

(I also have an on/off switch at the fuse block)

    Thank you!

Assuming you used 8AWG copper wire and the fuse block has an ampacity rating greater than 30A, I would go with the 30A breaker.
