Hate the feel of them. Don't care for the factory triggers. But they work.

Question for those people with more experience than me. Thats everyone. My glock 23 .40 isnt cycling correctly. When I have a mag loaded and rack over and over it chambers and ejects over and over just like it should. When shooting it wants to jam darn near every other shot.
Ive taken the spring out and slowly tried to watch the flow from mag to chamber and it seems to work as anticipated. Its something going on like either maybe the slide not going back far enough when firing or coming back too fast not allowing the round to pop up out of the mag to be chambered.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
How many different types and or brands of ammunition have you try to shoot through the gun to see if it does it with more than one type?

I’ve been a Glock fan since way back. First one was a G19 when they first hit the market. Then purchased a G26 when they were introduced. Shot thousands of rounds through those two and carried them for years. Currently have two G19 Gen 5 pistols. One standard, one MOS. Wife has a G42.
Glocks are what I learned to shoot semi-autos with, so they feel normal to me. Can’t remember having any FTF issues with any of them when using good ammo. Limp-wristing them will cause feeding issues, as will bad magazines.

how much semi auto pistol shooting have you done?
im guessing you have a dual recoil spring? I prefer to align mine on my g22gen4 (40sw) at 90* off.
reason i ask about the shooting experience is tbis is not a revolver, or long gun. You MUST hold it firm and new style shooting techniques are lock out your elbows or almost locked out. Isosceles stance (body armor forward) https://www.pewpewtactical.com/shooting-stance-grip/ lean into it, if you have a bluegun or a squirt gun you can get your grip and have someone stand beside the gun and give it a decent slap right on the muzzle and that simulates recoil, it really shouldnt move. (We used to make sure, double check, and confirm empty and use a real gun no magazine no ammo in the room, but its 2023 and this is probably not advisable anymore)
Being that I keep dragging my Glock thread on with all my silly questions I have another. Am I the only one that finds the glock trigger safety silly? Im just trying to think of what it could possibly catch on that wouldnt also grab the safety as well.
MAybe im missing something here. Any thoughts.
In college I remember a scenario with a indexed finger, and a stick/twig getting in the trigger guard while in pursuit of a perp... lol but yeah thats a bit wild and was definitely on a glock propaganda video

Also has your malfunctioning been with different magazines as well?
All seems well with the .40SW now. Did some polishing and upgraded recoil + mag spring. Not a malfunction out of it today.
Off to my next question. .What do you all prefer for range sights. This is nothing which I would carry so im typically shooting for accuracy. I dont find it very easy to be very accurate using what I consider typical bulky front and rear sights. Not really looking to get into red dots or anything as I prefer manual but looking for a little more "fine" of a sight setup. Adjustable would be a win as well. I have the factory adjustable Glock sights on the 19 and they are just ehhhh okay.
What says you all?
In your quest for accuracy are you trying to shoot smaller groups or attempting to shoot the 10 ring out of a target. If you are not trying to shoot the center out of the target then possibly try using a smaller size bullseye and set the bullseye on top of you sight picture.

Yeah the targets matter. Dawson precision makes finer sights. Particularly fiber sights.
