    Neal Spinner?

Over my last 21 yrs of life and most of it fishing with dad and papaw, one lure always comes up in convorsations when talkin fishin. I'm pretty sure they call it a Neal/Neil? Spinner, a topwater prop bait that's maybe 3-4inches long from what I understand. Back when dad went out with papaw he said he seen him catch bass so big that you could stick fists in there mouths. We haven't looked real hard to find any but id like to get one or maybe two and suprise him with them. Last year my papaw/his dad died and I know it will bring up some good memories for him. So if anyone knows what I'm talking about please enlighten me on this bait.

They are available on Ebay on occasion. They usually sell for about 25 dollars. The closest thing to them that would be cheaper is a South Bend Nippee Diddee.

A little steep in the asking price. There was a newer one that sold for 14 dollars a few days ago. You have to wait it out for a bargain.

    Re: Neal Spinner? (CP-ProCaster)

The Neal lures were made in Columbus, Indiana. There were two sizes in the original Neal Spinner at 3-1/4" and the Baby Neal Spinner measuring 2-3/4". The words Neal SpinnerColumbus, Indiana are stenciled on thrir bellies.
