The owners of the ski hut bought them. As of now, I believe their building is up and being prepped for production. We'll see from here where it goes. They are still trying to or are in the middle of plugging a Coral to make a fish n ski also.

What happened to the guy that bought some cobra molds that is located between sturgeon bay and green bay? He had 2 hulls outside most of the summer and it lokked like in fall he had put caps on them. I think he was a mercury repair shop also.

He sold them to Ski Hut. Just felt they were able to deal with demand better than him, and service his customers better.

    Ski Hut in Crivitz?

For some reason, I could picture "Boats by John" in that same general area getting into those..

Boats by John is a joke. He took a dyna ski, cut up a cap and viola he had a walleye boat called a recon. Talked to that guy for a couple hours at the musky show in Milwaukee a couple years ago. Even though his work/craftmanship is really really good he is out of touch with the market. He basically just sells boats by being the cheapest. His fit n finish is less than to be desired too, you can tell he is not afraid of a shortcut every now and then.

His repair work and upholstery is top notch though and would have no problem letting him work on my boat. I just prefer he not build my boat.

I'm pretty sure the guy that was pimping those old cobra molds had a breakdown on here and was shown the door.
