    This Saturday at NW River

This winter is proving to be mild so far, and I want to take advantage of this blessing. Having said that, I've decided to coordinate not one, but two bass tournaments this Saturday: the previously scheduled Goody's Big Bass Tournament, AND another Within Limits Bass Tournament. Hours will be the same for both tournaments: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Note: Within Limits means you must fish within the confines of NW River, Tulls Creek and Tulls Bay. Fees for fishing the Goody's Big Bass Tournament remains $20 per fisherman and $5 for the ramp. Fees for fishing the Within Limits Bass Tournament remains $20 per boat plus a $5 ramp fee. Note the ramp fee is only paid once if you elect to fish both tournaments. I hope you decide to take advantage of the great weather predicted for Saturday. Thank you.

We ended up holding only one tournament on NW today. The team of Mark Ingram and Darrell Kidd had two fish weighing 4.51 and a 3.55 lunker to take the rest of the money. It was nice to meet Bill Murtha today. Thanks for fishing with us. 10 boats, 16 fishermen.

Nice to finally meet you Bill. Hope to see you at NW river again soon. Maybe the little green fish will be a bit more cooperative next time.

It was good to see you again Bill and talk a little in the morning. Good job on weighing in a fish. It sure was a tough bite with the water temps as low as they were. Hope to see you again soon.

Hey Mark, CONGRATS on the win . Great job

I talked to my neighbor (you know who) ...and he has about 40 of that secret bait you've been looking for. He had a large plano box FULL to the top in about 10 different colors ... including your secret bait. Don't worry, I won't reveal the secret.

That's a beautiful Triton you have there Sid, really nice looking boat! It'd been a real long time since I fished that river, looking forward to get back out there come spring.

Re: This Saturday at NW River (VirginiaRiverRat)

Sid, I know which lure it is that Mark loves so much. And it doesn't matter if anyone finds out what they are because they quit making them almost 2 years ago. I've looked everywhere for something similar (so has he) and come up empty. It was truly a "one of a kind" bait. I'm down to about a 2 or 3 year supply. After that I'm screwed.

If your neighbor decides to sell those, I'll take whatever Mark doesn't buy.
