Fishing is slow, lake is dangerous if you have never been as water is low and a lot of rocks where you might think it is safe. A lot of pleasure boats there, but that is everywhere. Not trying to discourage you but you need an escort the first few times you are out to do it safely, and I still don't go up river far myself !!Seven springs and the public and Whippernock are the only ones I use as far as ramps.
