I'm considering ordering one for pitching to wood and brush with 20lb fluoro, as well as throwing A-Rigs, bigger swimbaits and possibly glide baits. Is the rod a pool cue or does it load pretty nicely?

I have several cara amistad's, very versatile, loads really well. I use them for heavy texas rigs, Carolina rigs,a rigs, jig. Anything where you need some backbone with a fast tip. Awesome rod
I think it was with the caras but Bradley Hallman talked about when he uses Amistad vs the XH. Mostly I remember when he uses braid vs fluro. That video may have some informative for you.
The Expert XH Amistad is going to fish similar to a Cara Amistad (Not the XH Cara)
The Expert XH is just an inch longer …
Hallman uses
Expert Amistad with braid
Expert XH Amistad with 20 - 22 lb Flouro
In general… the Cara’s fish heavier than the Experts
The Experts definitely have more flex in their blanks compared to the Cara blanks
That not just the Amistad… Every model
The Expert XH Amistad fishes Similar to the Cara Amistad (regular power)
The Cara XH Amistad is a flat out Hammer but a phenomenal stick
