Hey guys and gals. My dad just flew in from Vermont and we are headed to Sandy River on Monday. He wants a shot at a giant. Any pointers? Spots? I will be TM only since a 9.9 wont get the Blazer on plane. Thanks in advance.

I know they have been shallow....shallow running cranks like the strike king 4s....The coves heading up lake on your left are good....As well as the timber to your left....Last I heard they were shallow and tight to cover...Hope this helps...

Thanks for the tips and ims guys. I will let you know how i do. If any of y'all are out there tomorrow stop in and say hi.
Saw your truck in the lot but didn't see your boat. I was up lake most of the morning. Left at 12. Slow day for me but did manage a few.

I saw yours as well. We got eight and one about three lbs. No giants. We couldn't get a single fish off a bed. They weren't budging. Did see about an 8lb fish cruising down by the causeway. Thanks for the tips. It helped to put a few in the boat.
Yeah the few I saw on the beds were not interested. Couple would just leave when the bait sat on the bed. All of mine were in the slot. Biggest was 5-8 on a blade.

Sunday there it was crankbait day, my son and I had quite a few 4-4.5 lb'ers, mostly on the rocks at the dam and at the bridge.
