    Trim relay...

I have a question fellas. I can trim the motor from the throttle up and down but at the motor I can only trim the motor down. When I try to raise the motor nothing happens. Someone told me that there were two modules under the cowl. So today I took it off and found them both. When I unhooked the first one the motor would not go down. So I hooked it back up and it worked again. Just seemed weird to me that if the module was bad that it would work from the throttle. So I guess my question is can the module be bad and it still work from the throttle.

    Thanks

Definitely does not sound like the relay as it is the same relay for all switches and would not work for any of them if it was bad. Check the switch and the wiring.

Thats the reason I didnt think it was the relay. I looked at the switch on the motor. How in the hell does it come out. I unhooked 4 snaps and couldnt get it any further..

Yep, all trim locations, throttle, motor, and bow if applicable, all use the same three trim relays. This sounds as if one side of the trim switch at the motor is bad. That is where I would be placing my focus for now.
