I don't have a digital camera so I can't post pics.

I have the 2" spacer mounted to the transom and the jackplate mounted to the spacer. I called CMC this morning to confirm that everything is mounted correctly. They did confirm this is the way they recommend it being installed.
The jackplate has two holes 1" apart. My motor is mounted in the bottom. I can get 1" from raising the motor to the top hole. The bolts are in the 3rd hole down on the motor mount. I can get approx 3/4" by moving the motor to the 4th hole down.
