    2007 225 Pro XS won't start...

fished last sat nite & got ready to go home around 2am & it wouldn't start. It will crank and everything sounds normal. Loaded it up then went home & hooked up the on board charger. Came out Sun morning & with a fully charged HOT battery, still the same thing, won't start. It's under warranty but its about a 1 hr 40 min one way trip to Jaco's Marine in Lawrenceburg TN. to take it in. Any suggestions? Thanks....

    Check the following:

    1. Kill switch in the "on" position?
    2. Gas in primer bulb when you pump it? (wouldn't be the first time a fuel gauge
    was wrong....)
    3. On Starboard (right) side of motor, you'll find a rectangular plastic "fuse"
holder (the fuses are hidden inside). Check all of them to make sure they are
tight, and none of them are blown.
    4. Is the belt intact under the top cover?

Beyond the above, it would be time to check spark, air pressure and fuel pressure, and probably time to come see one of us dealers....

well you hit the nail on the head. the 20A fuse on the left in front of the 5a fuse was blown and had even turned the plastic a little black. I read my manual and its the Elec Fuel pump/ ECM driver power/ oil pump circuit fuse. any idea what may have caused this ?

Have your ignition coils checked--likely one or more are defective!

    +1

Odds are very high it's a shorted coil, fuel pump, or PCM. Take this one back in to your dealer immediately... fuses blow "for a reason" on this circuit.
