    Changing Creel Limits?

Who would one contact to discuss changing the creel limits set for a particular body of water?

As some of you may be aware, The area of the Shenandoah river between Luray and the town of Shenandoah is:

No bass 14-20" and only one over 20" per day.

This restriction was put in effect for good reasons but from what I have experienced, besides issues with smallmouth kills occasionally, this place has really come into its own and I see no reason for the odd creel anymore.

I don't ever keep anything out of there but I have been extremely interested in fishing some of the tournaments beings its so close to home, but I cant see putting money on the line whe I can go out there and catch a 15-20lb bag of fish and be lose to a 1lb bag.

I would really like to know who I can talk to to get this on the changing table.

Possibly Virginia DGIF? They have a website that might provide you some guidance. My experience has been dismal at best, though.

Yeah, I was looking at the site. Looks like I could contact the board member for the area. I guess I'll try that route.
    Thanks

Ed: If you want a real laugh: Ask the DGIF member why there are no port-a-potties at their ramp sites (i.e. Route 258 Nottoway).

    John,
Sounds like there's quite a story behind that... Does that have anything to do with your screen name on BBC?

Ed, the VDGIF office is just up the street from that Mexican spot in Verona. Perhaps a lunch and visit is in order

While you're at it, also ask them why the security light at that ramp is frequently out.
