Anyone mount a Helix 15 on the console? How did you mount it? Any pics? I'm concerned about visibility, any problems seeing over the Helix? I don't want it mounted higher that the top of the windshield. This is on a 18 Eyra that currently has a Helix 10 in dash.
A helix 15 will be very hard to see over. You will have to look around. Really the only option is a bbt mount. Personally would not do it.
I have a Helix 15 on the console that I mounted on a dual mount from Sherms, I had 2-12's on it beforehand. 5'10" I personally do not have any problems seeing over it.

Have a BBT mount at my console and can't recommend it enough.

Thanks for the replies. I am thinking its just too big to have a good line of site. Im 5-9, so its borderline. Might go with dual 10s or a single 12.
