VA East Fishers of Men

The final tournament of the season was held on the James at Osborne Landing. We had 71 boats! I believe there were over 80 boats at the other 4 tournies this year. We are the largest division in the country by far . This is my second year fishing with them. It is well organized and the people are great . If you are looking for a new trail to fish next year I would check out the FOMNTT.

Very well run events.
Carlos and I fished it one year and went all the way through to the regional and then the national event. Being a TX fisherman since 1980, that pre-meeting till 9 PM the night before just killed me. I like to fix my stuff, have a few beers and in bed by 8. Just didn't fit the profile.

Is staying for the whole meeting mandatory?

If you're trying to make it to the post season you need to stay. The meetings are worth points. Well at least we need all the points we can get! Most of the time they are wrapped up shortly after 8.
