    Head shave question

    Jay-
    I am trying to get the wife to agree on getting the heads on my 2.4 1988 Merc 200 cut for Christmas. Question is, after the heads are cut can they just be put back on and run the motor or is there timing / jetting involved with this that would have to be done before running the motor????

    1991 Gambler 20ft, 2.4 Merc 200 26p tempest plus.

    I think that would all depend on how much they are cut.
