Have a 2000 280 sport . Im gona be swaping powerheads to a 2001 225 promax. Is this gona be drop on and go or do i have to change some things out on the midsection. Thanks

You're either going to have to switch to a two piece adapter plate, or do some cooling system mods on the ProMax powerhead to enable the ProMax to be able to retain some heat in the engine. They are not difficult mods, and can be found on John Marles' website:

Go to the two piece tuner adapter , save yourself a LOT of hassel with heating issues... Been there and got the tee shirt !
