No "can" or a tuner or leave it stock??

95 mariner 200 efi slight mods- the "can" (that thing in the mid section) is out and the flat edge on the bottom of the mid section is drilled with five holes on each side. Would it be better for me to get a "tuner" for it or put the stock one back in it or leave it without anything in there. Which way will make it run the best it can.

The "can" in an engine is a long sleeve that exits exhaust from the motor to the lower unit carrier ... The TUNER is bolted to the tuner adapter. 200 Tuners work very well, don't waste money on after an market tuner , your engine will not turn enough RPM to see a difference...

An empty mid section (no can) is complemented well by an overhub prop. It sounds bada$$ also.
