Half the size of Buggs. 10 million docks. 5 million jet-skiers. Upper end is dirty, lower end is clear.

Smith is a big lake but it is quite a bit smaller than Kerr. Smith is a deeper lake than Kerr though. There is two main river systems that feed the lake, Blackwater and Roanoke Rivers. The other main difference is Smith is full of docks and houses. Just about every inch of shoreline has a dock on it with the exception of a few isolated areas. Lake is usually very clear and the water level is typically stable. Right now it is a little stained from all the winter weather and rains but is clearing up nicely. I have heard that a few fish are being spotted cruising the banks and beds. Water temps last weekend were in the low 60's. I found a few fish on docks with a jig and partner found some on trees with a brush hog. I am no expert by any means though and just about every Tx. I have seen lately there has taken 15+ to win. Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me will be along shortly to help you out.

I was expecting at least 17lbs to win, but 20+ is awesome. The Elite series should be interesting.
