It's about time on Lake Gaston!

Man it was on today on Gaston. My brother-in-law Everett and I could do nothing wrong. Well almost nothing. Started off the morning with Everett catching a 4 1/2 on the third cast. Then we caught nothing until about 10:30 when the sun got high and bright. From 10:30 until about 2:00 we wacked um on docks everywhere we stopped. My first fish broke me off at the boat after I managed to work her out from way back under a dock. She was 8 or better easy. No big deal, we proceded to put together our best five over the next couple of hours that went at least 25-26 pounds and thats probably a low estimate. We caught at least 30 fish and not a one was under 14". It is on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when I read that I thought you were talking about today. I said to my self no way. not with all that commotion today and then I read your bottom report. I to hate it when I get on them good before a tourney and then struggle when the tourney gets here. thats weekday fishing for ya. I fished a federation tourney today and 15 won it. 2nd was 12 and 3rd was like 10-11. I was 5th or 6th or 7th with almost 7. tought day because of all the traffic. The fish did bite early thou.
