I don't fish Chesdin anymore but I used to fish it 5 days a week in the early 90's. In the spring the "swamp" was where I caught many good ones. 1 you'll need someone to show you how to run to it. It's a hairy ride to say the least. 2 If you get there where the Appomattox meets it shut the motor off. 3 use your t/m until you learn where all of the stumps are. This will take many trips,trust me. If the water temp. is 50 degrees throw a black buzzbait around the 3 islands but anywhere past the huntclub on the right to where winterpock creek dumps in at the back of the swamp is good. Senkos in dark red also. Some of the best fish in Chesdin spawn here. 4 be very quiet these fish spook easily.Hope this helps ya.
