Better conference and overall record than Florida St., Clemson, Ga Tech, and Wake Forest. How in the world they selected these four teams and left them out is beyond me.

Probably that pitiful, sickening, lazy a$$ performance we turned in Friday afternoon against Miami had something to do with it. That was absolutely embarrassing!!
I will agree there, thier performance the last 2 weeks is what did them in, but to by pass them and pick 4 teams below them in a tough conference is just a slap in the face.

Were those other teams below them in RPI though? Non conference schedule for tech was pretty weak and that may have bit them in the RPI. That plays a big part to the selection committee. I thought and hoped they would be in but I am thinking that the above may be what cost them.
They were 55 i think in RPI. But remember, all this criteria is there to decide who's better. We had 10 wins in ACC. We had a better record than and defeated WF, Clem, and GT head to head....yet all these teams got in. And yea Miami was embarrassing, but they beat WF even worse the game before that. The whole selection process is a joke. BTW the Wake Forest Athletic Director was on the selection committee.

Caleb I agree it was a joke but the biggest of it all was letting Minnesota in ahead of Tech. They had a 18-12 record, and a worse RPI than Tech.
I will stop bitching about it now, we sealed our own destiny with our performance against Miami on Friday.

Ain't no joke, I'm still pissed about that game.
its not funny. it stinks...they should have been dancing. i remember many years ago UVA got ripped worse. I think they were rated 15 or better and they stayed home.

There out of conference schedule was against High Junior Varsity teams....that killed em...still think they should of been in.
But I get why they didnt make it.
