    VA Beach Bass fishing help???

    hey!

I might end up staying the summer at VA Beach (on 57th street) and I was wondering if there was areas around there that I could take my jon boat and go bass fishing? If anyone knows the area any help would be great!

    Thanks!

There are a bunch of lakes you can fish in...hp limited. Lakes are in Norfolk near the airport, and in Suffolk. You need permits, and somewhere here in the forum is a thread about where to get them..Let me see if I can find the thread for you.

Some of the lakes are owned by the city of Norfolk (Smith, Prince, Western Branch, Burnt Mills), and others by Portsmouth (Meade, Cahoon, Speight). Separate permits required.

    OK, here ya go...

He can also put his jon in the Nottoway, Blackwater, Northwest, etc.....

And for sure we can get him a back seat!
