Triad Bass Anglers fished our annual two-day club tournament at Buggs Island the weekend of the 14-15. None of us had ever seen the lake rise that high in the fall before, nor that fast--almost ten feet between the 12th and the 15th--it was 303 on the morning of the 14th and 306.5 by the afternoon of the 15th. Fish were caught on crankbaits, rattletraps, and spinnerbaits in the backs of the creeks. 19-4 for 10 fish took 1st, 18-4 for 10 fish took second, and 17-10 for 7 fish took 3rd.
