    Fall Classic

I made the Fall Classic @ Kerr this year, was just wondering how many others on here that I might get the pleasure of meeting while there.

Both BASS and TBF are fishing Kerr for the fall Classic. I'll be fishing the TBF side....

I will be there on the TBF side, will probably be tuff fishing as the water is 6 ft. low.

I will be there for the TBF side as well. I will be pre-fishing from my boat so if you see me stop and say hello. Red triton 20x single console.

    Re: Fall Classic (SETDHK)

I guess that I am the only one around here that still fishes BASS, but either way I haven't ever been down there that time of year so it will be an experience to say the least. If any of you all see me give me a shout too, I will be in an old 371 Ranger with a Johnson Faststrike motor.

There may be more TBF guys in the future as BASS is going up to $35.00 (from$ 20.00) & the state is talking about going from $20.00 to $40.00 a grand increase of $45.00 a lot of fisherman switched to TBF because of the $5.00 forced increase what is an additional $45.00 increase going to do ?

Have heard TBF is discussing an increase also.
With sponsoring down, both sides are looking for $.

Actually, TBF is considering dropping their entry fees, all the way up to the FLW tour level.

The state finally settled on going up to $35 a year. I was going to leave BASS if they had of gone up to the $50 that was proposed.

I'll be there on the BASS side. Going to try and take a day or two off before then to pre-fish also.

    Re: Fall Classic (vafishing)

Good luck to all fishing the classic regardless of whether you fish BASS or TBF. Now on another note, it kills me to hear all the whining about a little increase in fees especially when most here drive new or late model trucks and 20+K bass boats. It's absolutley ubsurd to think you spend $150 or so when it's all said and done now to fish a tx that pays back less than weekend throw together just becuase people don't want to pay a little more in dues and entry fees...get real. Now with that said, I probably didn't make to many friends here but that's how I feel.

Not whining about a little increase in fee's, but when they try to tell you that is going to cost more than double to run the federation next year vs. this year the math just doesn't add up is all.

"d" I agree if nothing is gonna change then it is wrong, what I am referring to is raising the fees and restructering payouts so when you do place 1-4 etc it's worth the time, money, and effort spent. If your raising fees to just raise fees without increasing payouts then i don't agree either.

All you guys be carefull. I fished it at 295 in august and heard it was at 293 now. A buddy went screaming too close to a point and when he realized how shallow it was too late

If I fished to live.....I'd starve to death!
