Anyone fish Kerr 8/1?

Me and a buddy of mine fished Kerr around the County Line area Saturday and just couldn't get on them. Anyone figure them out? I started out throwing a shallow crank around docks without a bite. Then once the sun got above the trees I started skipping a senko under docks and couldn't buy a bite. So I moved out and started cranking main lake points and followed up with a football jig and again nothing. Moved back to docks skipping and pitching. Only had about 5-6 bites all day and never boated a fish. What was going on out there?

You got to go DEEP like 20,25,30,35,40,45 and 50

I was cranking and working that jig anywhere from 10' to about 30'. Lost one off the crankbait in the process...that was on me though . I guess I'll have to try deeper next time...thanks.

all the docks i see there are floaters. where were you skipping under docks?

Across from the County Line ramp, there are several docks with those larger floats with a decent amout of space in between them and there were a few u-shaped docks that were covered, either with a pontoon or boat lift, that I was fishing around. Even the low floaters...if I could spot an opening I would skip under them. I was skipping senkos and tubes and pitched the occasional chigger craw. I've caught several decent fish doing that in the past.

I fished Saturday. I started at day break with a buzzbait and ended up with 4or 5 fishing the rocks around the bridge. Then I ran down the lake to a couple main lake pockets and caught one more on buzzbait. Switched over to tx rigged 10" worm working docks with pretty good luck largest fish being 21.5" pulled out from under a dock. The surprising thing was this fish was on the shallow end of the dock, maybe 4' of water. Ended up with 14-15 fish but a lot of shorts.

I'v fished 7 of the past 8 days on different parts of Kerr and only managed one fish per day. Deep doesn't work for me and I'm throwing the right stuff.
Must be holding my rod wrong.
