As it says in the title we are heading there the last week of July for a week, Info on Places to stay at in the area, that can accommodate bass boat with electric outlet.
Red Roof Inn says they can does anyone know if this is true? Looking for other options also.

You might want to look in the Hall Road and I-94 area. A lot of the tournament guys (Professional and amateur) stay in that group of hotels and they are able to run extension cords. Holiday Inn and Suites in Chesterfield Township comes to mind and they are building more that should be ready by that time.

I would avoid the red roof inn way to many boats and gear have gone missing from there in the past few years

I agree about the Red Roof Inn. Stayed there once and it was sketchy. Plus some buddies had bed bugs in their room. I always stayed at the Holiday Inn up by Selfridge. Plug outlets behind the building.
The farther north you go the better and safer it is. I have stayed in the
Selfridge area and it was fine. Good luck
