    Megalive on its way!

Ok got a mega live on its way to me. Anything I need to buy for the installation? I have a helix 8 at the console, helix 10 at the bow, I got an ultrex I pilot link trolling motor all linked with ethernet switch.
Can I run the power wire to the console fuse bus panel under my dash?
I have heard conflicting ways to do the drain wire/sheild wire.
My cranking battery is on its own 1 bank charger not hooked to the trolling motor batteries or their 3 bank charger, do I need to add the filter to the 1 bank charger?
Sure I will come up with more questions when I get started.
Thanks in advance for your help.

It comes with a 20' Ethernet cable (AS EC 20 E) and a 10' power cable.

Follow the installation instructions for the drain wire, pretty simple and straight forward.
You need switched and fused power with a 2A fuse.

The RFI choke cable is to block RFI that passes through a battery changer that is connected to the unit's power and trolling motor power. You don't have that.

My fuse block under my dash console has open spots left. The fuse block doesn't have power until I hit my dash power switch would this work?

Something to be aware of is your power for the MEGA LIVE will be connected to the battery and charger that also is connected to the trolling motor batteries. That circuit can be an antenna for RFI on the display.
Soooo IF you get RFI, then you can install the choke cable on the starting battery lead of the charger.

As long as you get "clean" power from that fuse block. I don't know what other things you have attached through that fuse block, but I like having a totally dedicated and isolated fuse block for my fishing electronics.

So I have decided to run dedicated power from the battery to my mega live. I will put a switch up front at the bow. What type and gauge wire would be the best. Any certain on-off switch I need to get? Thanks just trying to get all my supplies ordered as well.
