Water pump kit part number 1997 200 Johnson

I have a 1997 200 Johnson J200STLEUB in the BRP parts it list 2 gearcases one is a 20inch the other is a 25 and 30 inch. How do I know if I have a 20 inch or 25 inch. Where do I measure from ? I measured from bottom of motor to where gearcase botls up and it is 20 inches. Is this correct ? Thanks I am haveing a brain fart on this. Also I ordered some gear lube is it ok to use HPF PRO Gearcase lube I noticed it said it was for E TEC after I had ordered it.

If you go to the BRP website under Evinrude / Johnson parts and accessories you'll see a section at the top called Model Year Guide. The first couple of pages of the PDF will tell you the meaning of each group contained within your model number. Hope this helps.

If you also looked at the one stop shopping post stickied to the top of the page, the model year decode is also there. You have 20" shaft.
