2000--225 Ficht controls

If a person were to buy a boat with a failed 225 Ficht engine, what other engine could you re-power with ? Thanks

Without changing the wiring harness any OMC/BRP motor from 1997 on up. Depending on what motor you install you may need to cap off the return line fitting on the oil tank.

Did OMC still make 200hp carbed engines after 1997 ?

Yep sure did! Last year for the carbed 90* V-6 motors was 2001.
