what kind of crabbing are you talking about? Traps, chicken necks?
well this time of year there are not many crabs. if you go to the beach (nags head) there are several free public piers and bridges that allow crabbing. but you are not going find much this time of year. there is a very nice public pier under the bridge leaving manteo right beside pirates cove and just up from there on the same road is a good bridge. you see folks on the catwalk. hope his helps

Interstate Routes down that way.....
about 200' from my front door...but its too early right now.
