I don't know about anyone else, but lately I have been catching all my bass with a 6 to 8 foot crankbait. I have tried many other things, but I have been finding the bass with shallower than I would have guessed cranks. I figure I am just targeting the more aggressive bass in any particular area. However, I am fishing near deep ledges.

I think all the fish Perry and I caught two weekends ago were hanging on the drop offs. I think the bigger fish were farther down the drop than we were fishing though.
