Just moved to Michigan about a year ago from florida and looking to get back into bass fishing. Does anyone know of any bass clubs area the thumb area(live in ubly)? I've seen the saginaw valley bass anglers but couldn't find any contact info.

Contact Paul Wagner at Michigan Bass Nation. They have a web site and facebook page. He would know of clubs in that area.
I emailed him earlier in the week just waiting on a response. Hope to hear something soon.
Lake Neppising club is a great bunch. Same ball park distance as Saginaw.
Not sure they are looking for members. Solid club, been around for a while. Host an opening day open tourney on Holloway Res. every year with 60+ boats.

Dude, you are out in the middle of BFE. You picked a great place to fish... by yourself lol. Grindstone City is awesome for smallies as well as the Saginaw Bay (East Side). SVBA is probably the closest to your location however, they travel all over the state to fish. I am in a smaller club that fishes the Saginaw River and Bay (West) to name a few. If you want more information, let me know.
Do they still have the dragway in Ubly. Remember going there in the early 70's.
