    installation questions

So I ordered a new boat in February and was told that they finally have the motor so It should be here in the next week or so. So my questions are?
Apex 19 at console with SI transducer at transom and Airmar thru hull 2d on second 2d port
Apex 16 at bow with Mega 360 and Mega live
    Riptide Terrova with Ipilot link
After I wire everything do I just turn things on and hope for the best HA HA or is there a sequence of how things should be added if the boat is in the garage and not in the water. I live in Michigan and it's getting close to the launches freezing up.
Example GPS antenna can be out side the garage until setup is complete then mounted. Wet switches can be jumped to turn on units ect.
    Am I missing anything?
    Thanks

Well you have killed the LIVE deal and MEGA 360 with your choice of trolling motor unless you plan to attach another mount system or two to the hull for those two devices. What is your plan for those two devices?

Haven't decided yet but probably going with cornfield crappie 360 mount for Terrova and live sweep on a separate mount. I want to be able to see the direction of the mega live from the helm. A lot of time when someone is fishing up front I have a hard time seeing around them to see the direction the trolling motor is facing, so i want Mega Live somewhere I can see its direction. I guide for Muskie and Small mouth with a fly rod so I'm at the helm most of the time.

The good news is that you can do what you are talking about without having to add the Humminbird Ethernet Switch. With the two devices you will have 4 ports to work with and I think this setup will leave you with one open Ethernet Port.

I love my Apex 19 at the helm since I also spend most of my time at the helm. I troll for Stripers and am at the helm unless I'm up reeling in a fish or changing lures. There are major differences with my setup since I'm always trolling. I have my Mega Live attached to the Mega 360 (using a Fishing Specialties mount) and the Mega Live is fixed pointing aft for watching the fish reactions to my trailing lures.

On the Apex 19, I typically have Mega Live on the 50% side and then split the other half with SI and DI. I also have a Solix 12 G3 at the helm and use it for the Chart (on the 30% side) and Mega 360 on the 70% side. I really like that setup as I can keep an eye on everything from the helm... What's coming up as well as the fish reactions to my lures.

    Good luck with your setup!

[QUOTE=SLYDoggie;12216645]The good news is that you can do what you are talking about without having to add the Humminbird Ethernet Switch. With the two devices you will have 4 ports to work with and I think this setup will leave you with one open Ethernet Port.

The Ipilot Link will take the last spot on the ethernet.
