Yellow Fever is some bad stuff. They had a bad outbreak in Memphis in the 1870s that killed a bunch of people and essentially caused the city to be abandoned for a couple of years. Too bad they don’t have a vaccine that makes you bulletproof, it would come in handy in Memphis.
The yellow fever vaccine is +99% effective, virtualy bulletproof. Of course, it doesn't hurt to cover up, use DEET, drink quinine water, etc. Once you turn 60, the vaccine isn't recommended very often.

I’m planning to avoid travel to any country where Yellow Fever could be an issue. The only mosquito infested place I spend any time in (besides Arkansas) is Canada, and those mosquitoes don’t carry it.
