    Hurricane a coming

Looks like this weekend Hanna will rule and chasing her for next weekend is Ike(cat 4 now ). Surely this will ruin my planned trips for the Potomac for the next 2 weekends, but i guess we need the rain!

Agree on the needed rain. Praying for those on the coastal areas. Looks to be a busy hurricane season

Well, this weekend is a bust for sure. Way to early to know about next weekend, some of the models have Ike staying out at sea at this point. Typical September in the Atlantic.

Other than the inconvenience, not overly concerned about Hanna...but I'm very worried about Ike. Ground is gonna be soaked and trees will come down, big-time, if it hits as hurricane. Being a 4 now, it's gonna have to weaken a lot...or stay way out at sea. NWS shows it with hurricane force winds along the coast, stretching from SC to Eastern Shore and on up...with 50 knot+ winds inland past I 85.

    Re: Hurricane a coming (Lea)

Well, I just got donew topping off my stuff for bad weather.

Got 2 filled propane tanks for the grill/camper, trimmed some tree limbs that were too close to the house, made sure I had gas for the generator, and made sure the thing still worked (been over a year since I ran it), and topped off the vehicles.

I should be good to go now.
