my dad, who was a taxidermist, mounted an NC record Marlin that weighed over 1,100 lbs...he had to have a dump truck deliver the sand to pour the plaster in to make the cast...in the back yard !!! The fish was too big to get into his studio!

A tractor trailer delivered the fish......dad and his two workers had to pour the plaster and do all the work outside in the back yard....that fish was huge!! Took all three of them to turn it over to cast both sides!

Tractor trailer came back to pick it up!!! It was displayed in a glass case in Nags Head I believe.....until a storm came through and destroyed it!!
