All lit up.....

I bought one of the complete bass boat sets of LED lights from Blue Water LED (BBC Sponsor) during thier recent 20% off sale. Installed them yesterday after work. 2 rod lockers, 4 tackle compartments, and 2 livewells. Looks pretty good so far, I think. How do you guys/gals like it?

(Picture quality isn't great...I'm not used to night pictures)

Darryl, I think you need to come over here and install the 2 complete sets plus that I have from Mike.........and I also got an alarm system too.....think ya can do that as well ?????????

One was enough! Might not have been so bad if I had an airconditioned garage to do it in...

I like it! Did you have to change the bulbs or run all new stuff?

The original lights are still there, just took the bulbs out. Hooks up pretty easy, just splice the wires for the LED strips into the wiring for the existing lights. Less draw on the battery also.

And since my compartments are fully carpeted, I can't just use 3m tape to mount them either.

Well, I finally got mine in....at least 90% of them.

I ain't figured out yet what to do with the storage compartments that have removeable bins in them....got to think on that one.

All of mine have mercury switches, so the lights only come on when you open the lid when the master power switch is on. The only ones that don't are the livewell lights, and they are on a switch on the dash.

I still have to add the courtesy lights, and install the alarm system, but DANG...trying to fit in them there compartments is a painful chore !!!!!

I'll try and get some pics this weekend.....it's not dark when I get home from work or when i leave for work.

I may add some more livewell lights, as they seem kinda dim, but I'll wait and see first. I still have to add lights to the rear side compartments, but since they have removeable bins in them, I'm not sure how to do it and not have to disconnect them every time. I also have some courtesy lighting to add this weekend.
