The 180 hp electric outboard is quite interesting.

It really is. 3-4 hours on a charge is pretty impressive. I'd like to know more about what "cruising" means, I'm sure it's not WOT. That said, I think even if you only got 1 hour at WOT that would work for a LOT of bass anglers. Clearly not the guys making long runs on big bodies of water, but there are lots of bass anglers that don't fish those bodies of water. And if it's really 3-4 hours cruising, then they could likely get by in most situations.
Weight, space, and cost are probably the big limiting factors.
