You know you might get a crack or two if you could actually get that yamaha opened up enough to put a strain on your stratos, but cruising around at 4500rpms to prevent walking just doesn't cause any stress on the boat.
    </TD></TR></TABLE>

Normally I would fire off a smart azz reply....but since you were nice enough to give me a free driving lesson I'll just let it go. I will say that, thanks to your expertise, the chine walk is no longer an issue and my rpms usually stay around 56-5700 now. So thanks again...

Welcome David, you'll learn that there's a lot of friendly BS thrown around on this board. You will also learn that just about everyone here helps out whenever possible. You've come to a good place

I am more towards the Sandy Cross area if you know where that is. It's nice and quiet and I am only 20 minutes from the Gatesville boat ramp. Wish they would pave that dag on road though! </TD></TR></TABLE>

I do not know too many of the creek's name yet....I know of Catherine's, Bennets, mud gut, and I think the name of the one beside the Gatesville ramp is Saroms maybe....Done well in these creeks so far this year especially at the mouths. Went into the Wiccacon Saturday and caught 20 or so....

My next challenge is learning more about the Nottaway.

Nevermind...When I saw you mention "Sandy Cross area", I automatically started thinking about Tar River. I thought you where in my neck of the woods.
