Took my 13 year old son to the Pamunky. The tide had just started in when we arrived and the river was fairly stained. Started off a little slow, then when the tide started to come in good the water cleared some and they bit good. Ended up with 13 fish, the best 5 around 11lbs. We caught 2 on a jig, 2 on shakey head and the rest on a 100 bandit. I positioned the boat to where he could get the first cast and a good angle. He did well by catching 8 of the 13.
Good deal.....I fished that river a bit ago and was very impressed with the laydowns and areas to fish. Great place to wet a line.
