Hey does anybody know of any other motel to stay at except the laka anna lodge?
We went there a few months ago and it was to say the least dumpy!
Could stay there again but dont really want to if you know of anywhere that has plug-ins for the boat plse let me know thanks in advance
that's it for Hotels there, they do have a couple of places you can stay at High Point, not sure of the name of the place but I am sure you could call Anna point or High Point marina and they could give you more information,
ok guess we need to invest in a trailer huh and take 2 trucks
Wish there was a koa close by used to stay in one at new bern nc right on the river. they got nice little cabin type deals
The rooms at High Point motel are right on the water. They are good people at the marina also. May want to try the Lake Anna state park for camper hook ups. Almost forgot Christopher Run has cabin style places to rent.
I agree, I went to a church retreat at Christopher Run last fall. they had some cabin style units for rent. Probably not too bad this time of year if you don't mind having to walk to the bathrooms/shower. Have a ramp right there too

that wouldnt be bad where is that place at with the cabins i forgot bout that other motel or hotel what ever. they have thier own ramp don't they?
Adam, gimme a holler when you're going. I'll pull my boat as well. Fishing is a lot like hunting, the story telling before and after are almost as fun

You've picked the hardest Lake to fish for the coldest week of the year, but yeah count me in, I'm getting that itch as well. I also do the 12 hour day thing

Aint nothing like a challenge last time we went it was 38 for a high went back to the room woke up the next morning to sleet and freezing rain frogg toggs or not we came home i love it but not that much

Lake Anna SP also has cabin rentals and a ramp. Also with the cabin rentals you get a boat stall to dock the boat in also.
