I need bifocals for tying knots and bought a pair of Costa Tuna Alley with bifocals in 2019. Literally only use them for fishing. Best $215 I ever spent. Broken enough cheap pairs to pay for the Costas over time. Hope they last me 10 years.

I have a pair of Hobie polarized that I use everyday for driving only. Paid $50 for them and have had them almost 20 years. The lenses used to randomly pop out, but a little super glue about 15 years ago and have not had an issue since.

My son bought me Oakley frames for Christmas, I had to put the Rx lenses in them. Previously I used some purchased at the Walmart eye glass shop.
All I can say is WOW! My eyes feel way better at the end of the day. Not sure why, but they actually work better while I wear them too.
Now your talking about a cost of $200 to $600, the only difference is progressives.
