Any of you guys rebuilt that entire setup? If so, any tips?

I worked on mine replaced all the pumps and moved them from behind the fuel tank to the outside so I could reach them without taking the fuel tank out.
Sounds smart, what about removing tank to accomplish the feat?

I cheated and had HydroTec here in Nixa take the tank out When I was done they put it back in for me!
Well then, how did they do it?

Empty the tank, putt a big strap around it, slide it back a bit and rotate the back up while pushing the front down, curse a little and then it will come out.

Hmm, sounds very much a pain

It is really not that hard. I did not even use a strap. I did have to pry a bit on the back right corner to get it out and used a rubber mallet a bit to get it back in. It would have helped a lot to have someone there to help lift.
Photos of the reinstall are here http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread....ght=fastglass1
Basically to take it out is just the reverse order of the photos.

Another option is to seal the tank and pull a vacuum with a vacuum pump on the tank which will pull the sides in reducing the tank size. I haven't had to remove mine but I do believe a couple on here have done this.
Only Thing that worries me is gas fumes. We have a HVAC company and several Vacuum pumps, really dont know how that will work, spark and boom.......

A lot is depending on the lip that the rear door is screwed too. If it’s not that big tank comes out. If it is it’s a PITA. I had to trim that lip and it came right out
It sounds really fun but has to happen. I think I have rangled a dealer here to remove tank and I will do rest....

Some are very tight. I had smokey mountain marine do some work on mine and watched Kevin (who built my Stroker) put a band under the tank, have 2 of his guys pull on it while he beat the the hell out of the tank with a big hammer, moving it a fraction of an inch at a time. I would never attempt it myself.
When i rebuilt mine it came right out no issues what so ever. I guess its just the luck of the draw.

Well look forward to watching them remove tank, anyone have issues getting valves and all other needed supplies for complete reno on livewell setup.....
