    Spin on Filters

What is the smallest micro sized spin on filter available for my motor? Is there a Racor that will fit OEM? Or do I have to look at adding one in the bilge area for this?

Re: Spin on Filters (fast fred)

No, but I am thinking that is my only option besides the regular motor filter. Just want to know if there is a .10 micron spin on available. If there isn't one, then I guess i can only add an inline filter in the bilge area?

Are the OEM filters made by Sierra and Mallory also .10 micron?

If you can't run with the big dogs, just stay on the porch.

    Re: Spin on Filters (DoferGofer)

I have seen recommendations for adding an extra filter in the bilge area, but the fiter on my engine is doing it's job so far. I did put an aftermarket one on once, but after 6 months, I couldn't stand it and went back to the BRP one Fred listed......

Re: Spin on Filters (Dave A)

I believe the recommendation is once yearly or 100 hours.
