Pairing Android 11 phone to Terrova fails repeatedly (wrong pin or passcode message)

Hi folks, any idea how to get this working.
Trying to pair my Android 11 phone to Terrova 2019 trolling motor but getting message wrong pin or passcode.
There is not even option to add those anywhere on the connecting screen.

UPDATE: you have to hold the pair button for the whole period of pairing and then it beeps 4 times

Made the same mistake first time I tried pairing a Iphone...LOL
