Chickahominy River

Aint no fish in that river.....Chip and I placed 8th today in the region tournament and never left the river. Had 7 for 16lbs and had the limit plus on the hook but just couldnt get them in the boat. Took 27 lbs to win and it came from the Appomatax seriously.......and thats no joke.

wow.....didnt c this post. Was your tourny out of the rt 5 launch?.....We launched from there and really got into some nice fish pretty much all day. The best day probably that we have had in virginia this year. Caught two 4's and who knows how many 2 in a halfs/3 pounders.

it was a rough day for a lot of people woody, i know that 2 of the boats from my club put it on the trailer way early and went home to watch the race....

Yeah don't even bother waving when you go by next time there, McMath!! I saw you out there. I took Jonboat with me, my best 5 were about 11 to 12 lbs. After that tide quit going out I didn't catch but 2 fish!! Had all mine early on spro frogs.

I always struggle on the Chickahominy, I love the river but havent fished it much, I cant catch a cold on the Chick . It sounds like ya'll have it down , so who's giving me my first lesson .

Gunny I think I saw you up near the dam sat., but I wasn't sure, in a black on white Cat. I know I saw your truck in the parking lot....you cant miss the BBS sticker .
