Just bought a used boat. First time out its running rough at idle, mid speed and full throttle. Alarm went of while driving it and this is all new to me.
Under investigation i found this tube cracked 90% of the way through and now just from examining it, it completely broke.
What is this tube for? Goes to oil resevoir and engine.
Could this be the reason for the rough running?
The tube is for the speedo. The cable is for low oil alarm. Repair both. Neither of these faults cause your poor running. Your motor was made in 2012. Model AA. Any service history and engine report available? Fresh fuel? Compression?
You said the alarm went off so you need the diagnostic software hooked up and retrieve the trouble code.

Funny that my speedo tube also just broke recently and that's why I recognized it immediately.
Simple and easy fix. Cut off that plastic connection from the both sides of that black tube. Find something that will fit into the speedo tube. I found a old spray bottle tube fit in with a small amount of grease and lots of force. Zip tie it to better secure it but I really doubt mine will ever just come apart.
