Not a fishing trip, but a trip none the less...

I know this is a fishing site and I do fish, but just wanted all to know of my great ski trip I just took. Went with the other half, she flew in from Kentucky to surprise me, to Wintergreen outside of Charlotesville, VA. Went up Saturday afternoon and came back yesterday evening. What a great trip, SNOW everywhere! It was a little chilly over the days high's in the teens and even colder inthe evening and that is before you factor in the wind chill. All and all was a great time. Can't wait for it to warm up so I can go fishing again.

Glen, I almost did that today. I walked by the ski's on my way out the door and had to stop and ponder it for a few. I mean they call it liberal leave for a reason. With 6" of snow at Wintergreen I should have gone. Oh well!

Hey man, I have been on teh road for three weeks, just now back home...Have a fishing trip to Murray next weekend..have to do prep work for that trip this weekend...... we will eventully make it out there man!!

I used to ski a lot...before I got into bass fishing....and also got old with bad knees!! I skied Colorado, upstate NY, Vermont, New Hampshire, CT, PA, and Mass....plus a couple of Virginia areas. Never did get to WVA.. Still have 2 pr skis and my boots. Can't fit into ski bibs/jacket.... I guess i should sell all....

Lea, what kind of skis do you have? My girlfriend is looking for a pair of skis! You mentioned selling them and a light bulb went off.
