    Deep cycle marine battery charging

    Picked cen-tech battery charger at harbor freight. Charges at 2, 8, and 15 amps. Wondering whether it’s suitable to charge a deep cycle marine battery.

    Yep, the higher the amp setting the quicker it will fully charge.

    8 if in no hurry will work then 2 to maintain it. is it a smart charger??

    Yes. The manual indicates that it’s a smart charger. Based on the post I conclude a car battery charger will work fine on a marine battery.

    I bought one. It's a smart charger. When I hook it up it just sits there, sometimes. Then after it thinks, I guess, it starts making noise. No matter, it does charge extremely well. Lots of lights, some flash, some go around in circles.
